D2C Insider stands tall as the most extensive network of meticulously selected founders and CXOs from the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) ecosystem. Our journey began in 2019 with a humble WhatsApp group aimed at fostering idea exchange and growth assistance among members. Over time, we have evolved into a thriving community comprising 7,000 brands, 2,000 enablers, and 1,000 investors. Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day engagement across all community channels - WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, and beyond (we're channel-agnostic).
Moderate discussions to ensure a respectful, high-value, and vibrant environment.
Onboard new members with warmth: welcome them, connect them to relevant resources/events, and help them find their place.
Plan and execute interactive initiatives - AMAs, founder stories, networking sessions, polls, challenges, and community-driven programs.
Collaborate with content and events teams to align community discussions with broader brand campaigns and key events.
Identify and nurture evangelists - spotlight active members and build loyalty and advocacy loops within the community.
Track and analyze community metrics (engagement, churn, active users) and use insights to drive continuous improvements.
Innovate new ways to make the community more lively, inclusive, valuable, and self-sustaining over time.
Act as a bridge between our members and the broader D2C Insider ecosystem - gathering feedback, spotting trends, and championing member needs internally.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience managing online or offline communities (preferably in startups, D2C, SaaS, or tech ecosystems).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - you’re a natural at starting and sustaining meaningful conversations.
- Deep understanding of community dynamics: what makes people stay, engage, and advocate.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts.
- A builder’s mindset - not afraid to experiment, iterate fast, and figure things out.
- Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience managing founder, investor, or startup-focused communities.
- Familiarity with platforms like WhatsApp Business, Slack, Discord, Circle.so, or other community tech stacks.
- Experience in launching and scaling community-led programs or ambassador initiatives.
